Pasture Raised Chicken & Turkey

Zachary and Samantha Platt and along with our families, steward the land and animals of Behind the Oaks Farm. Family owned since the 1970’s, we are located in Schertz, Texas, right outside of San Antonio. Samantha is the third generation of Greaves to operate the farm, and Zack married into the farm life over 10 years ago. When visiting the farm or markets, you will be able to meet us and our 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. We enjoy visitors at the farm so that they too can make a connection with the land and animals. We want to bring back the connection between people and their food, knowing that these animals are raised with love, care, and the best that we can provide them because in return, they will nourish us.

How our online ordering works

Unlike the ranch store, where you can buy as many or as few individual products as you'd like, our online ordering is done a little differently. We have several of our most popular items for sale on the website, but individual/premium cuts are only available as part of a box or through our PRIME membership (see below). This allows us to keep a good selection of products online for delivery customers, and keep the store shelves fully stocked. If you can't get out to the store, but would like to order a la carte and have it delivered, then our PRIME membership is for you! We send an email out every Monday with our full inventory list for our PRIME members to order from.
